Terrell is one of our arts partners at London Youth and delivered a series of poetry written and spoken word performance sessions with young people at The Mentoring Lab who took part in the Young Creators programme. His flexibility and passion were so helpful when setting up the project and his sessions with the young people were inclusive and engaging. Some of the young people had never written or performed poetry before, and after eight sessions they stood on stage at The Bishopsgate Institute and performed their work to an audience who were moved by their words.
